If it has I recommend fitting a USE Alien seatpost..... And then live in the fear it could break at any moment. Just like mine did this morning......

Replacement seatpost head as the previous two bolt design was terrible. The bolt head was so small that it was too easy to round off.

New one bolt design 6 rides old had completely sheared.

Utter rubbish and won't be trusted again, back to a Thomson I go.

Good training I suppose having to stand up for the remaining 12 miles into work. I don't think I'm going to be very productive today.

So you broke a lightweight seatpost, in which case there's probably a better place to be losing weight than the seatpost :p

I had an Alien post for years - never any trouble and I was 15st at the time.

Obviously user error! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Got a 2-bolt Alien on my Madone. At least 10 years old, probably done about 30,000 miles!

This was a one bolt one. I dug the original two bolt out earlier and it's much sturdier. Just need the longer bolts.
