yes but it isn't about a pet. Nothing about the condition of the pet is changed by the story. In my opinion, all pet ownership is a perversion of natural parental instincts. I love my children to distraction, but am indifferent to other species beyond refusing to eat them.

I used to love her and called my wife 'Missy' - 'til I found out she was a lessie (er...not my wife, that is), - only 'cos she rides Cannondale and they were Missy's best years, Piranha and all.

I don't know why you don't like 27b/6 al, it strikes me as just your kind of humour.

To me it's not very clever, picks on obvious/easy targets.
