I've been looking at stuff on the Ritchey website, prices in Euros based in Switzerland. Doesn't seem like any dealers in England have stock of what I'm looking at, so does anyone see a downside in ordering direct? It's one of their steel frames and seems I might get it quicker if I order direct rather than wait for a dealer to get the item and then ship it on to me?
from buying other stuff from Switzerland, can be a little slow due to clearing Swiss customs. But I am fairly certain you don't get hit for duty and vat, but check.
I have to say it does seem like it picks up the fact I'm in the UK and not like I'm buying off a Chinese website in dollars. But I'll check cos that would be a bit of a bummer, as it's the same price as the UK RRP when you convert the Euros to pounds.
Upgrade Bikes are the distributor, have you tried contacting them?
