The admittedly bog quagmire mud fest that is the bridle way across Harden Moor has been completely sanitised, gone the boulders, the rocks, the ruts, instead we just have a sanitised smooth path. How did this happen? It was one of the first bridle ways that gave me a love of mountain biking. And where Chris Akrigg cut his teeth too I might add.

You can still do the final little rocky drop if you go straight on rather than following the motorway near the bottom, but yes, it's pretty awful.
