I have a VERY small storage area for 2 bikes - how could i go securing a bike to a wall (rear wheel on the ground taking the weight) using standard QR forks?
You just need a wall hook Rob and no need to rest on floor.
If a bike can handle you on top of it riding down rocks n stuff then it can hold itself up by it's wheel.
front wheel is off tho mark
The "shed" is 5ft high at most - got the prophet to fit in plus the GT hardtail.
Its approx 3ft wide x 5ft high x 5ft deep
hang it back first then... use the rear.
what hooks then?thought would be easier wheeling it in thats all
Get to homebase/b n q and they have some there. Screw in ones.
ceiling is concrete so would need proper drill in versions i suppose. Druidh - never thought of 1 up one down approach - cheers
Just beast some rawls in to the ceiling and screw the hooks in. Job done. Always put in a spare.... you will end up needing it.
Fix a block of wood to the concrete wall and the bike hooks to that.
Or that aye.
He might not have enough clearance though so i didnt suggest that.
The only clearance he needs is the one from the Mrs for knocking holes in the wall.
its my ONLY space 🙁
ha, HeBitch!
