I know this has been done before ( but i can't find the thread ) , but what's a good presta valve hand pump for me to take either in a bag or attatch to my water bottle cage ?
Thanks
Topeak MTN Morph or a clone of it.
I have the Lezyne Mini pump with fold out foot and a long hose connector - seems ok though I've only used it once. Bit big for frame mounting but good for the pack. Wiggle were doing them for £25 last week

A relative bought me this one for Christmas just gone and its a work of art. Pumps up a 2.3 in no time at all.
The bottle cage frame mount is reasonable enough but I usually just throw it in the Camelbak as its far too nice to risk getting damaged on the outside of the frame.
Just been looking at the STW recommendations - Top Peak Pocket Rocket + Blackburn Mammouth both come out well .
Like the look of the Lezyne Tech Drive HV though ( with hose too ) .
Lezyne pump in whatever size/colour/road/MTB flavour you wish.
The reversible presta/schraeder hose cones in handy for dealing with kids, partners and commuting damsels in distress without dismantling the pump head first.
Think that's just made my mind up ....Leyne Tech Drive HV it is !
Thanks everyone
Road or mountain bike
Have both the mountain morph and road morph
But I've (today) picked up a small Lezyne Alloy Drive for sticking in a bumbag. The Pressure Drive is the road version of this. Both reviewed very well
One thing I've found with pumps that screw on to the valve is that occasionally when you unscrew them you also unscrew the valve insert 😡
The Topeak morph range (road or mountain) and the lezyne micro floor drive are leagues ahead of anything else I have used. Honestly, I wouldn't look any further.
Truflo's mini-floor-pump types are the best I've used... The old Evolution was the best but I think it's pretty much out of stock. The new telescopic one is almost as good- much prefer it to my old morph.
Sorry never mentioned it's for a mountain bike - both 29 & 26 wheels
