Hi, I have been out to my local trails today and about 3/4s of the way round i began to get very bad finger pain it starts at the palm and works it way up to the middle of the finger. Im wearing non padded fingerless gloves. It starts to get very bad when im going over rocky singletrack. Recently the rebound has failed on my Rockshox Fork so its stuck on the slow rebound could it be that or do i need padded gloves or is it totally different. I have been riding 3years and im now 16
your median nerve is gubbed - possibly.
ok. Just wondering as my fork is stuck to the slow rebound could it be because its not recovering quick enough so the shock is going to my wrists if you know what i mean?
get some decent padded gloves, something with ulner nerve pads - all the Specialized gloves have these. If it still hurts get your fork serviced. If that doesn't work go see the doc.

seen a few fairly young - but you are right - there are more obvious reasons why his wrist will hurt at that age....
When riding solo alternate between your left and your right hand.
