[#1094710]

Tell me about them. Reliable, easy to maintain etc:
I'm a Alfine hub gear convert already on my HT, want to put one of these on my FS.

I know they're pricey, but i'm worth it.

opinions please........

Which FS? Some FS frames don't like Hammerschmidt due to chainline issues (in terms of it being like riding around in the granny ring).

Interested in this too.

From what little I know I think they're a heavy solution to a problem that's not actually much of a problem.

But I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.

it's an SX trail.... with international standard mounts 'n all.

Heavy i dont mind. I'm heavy, my bike's heavy, i can accept these things in my life.

Crap, fiddley, weak, and dis-functional i DO mind tho'

will certainly be good on konas as they have a pivot point on the granny ring but older ones dont have iscg tabs ๐Ÿ™

Would be awesome to be able to change gear when I'm stationary and dithering

It would be poo-stain on a Giant maestro, there is a lot of chain feedback in the little ring.
Don't know about an SX though
