Anyone use them? seem pretty cheap seem strong.
Any down sides?

downsides? don't know yet.
strong enough for all but the worst abuse, and lighter than most 'strong' rims too.
i'm very impressed with mine - had them for about a year. they've settled on my 4x/bmx track bike where they have to put up with my shocking inability to land properly. they're still straight.
not a good choice for hucking off cliffs, or xc racing.

They're good for the price. The bearings aren't great but the rims are excellent.
