I'm looking to upgrade my wheelset and purchase aftermarket wheels for the 1st time ever.
Halo look and sound good to me and a good price too but i'm not sure about the spec.
I have a Specialized Crave Comp 29er with SRAM PG1030 cassette but not XD so that rules out 1 option,the alternative is for it to fit a Shimano HG hub,how do i know if i have that hub?
Anyone else used Halo wheels and are they any good?
I've been running 27.5 Halo vapour for the last two years. I think they are great. Running tubeless without any problems and can run low pressures without burping. I managed to break a spoke on a particularly rough landing at BPW but otherwise they have been fine. Have also survived two Alps holidays and are still running true.
Cool thanks for that,any idea if the shimano hubs are standard?
Also looking at Hopes now,only £39 dearer for the pair and i can choose red pro4 hubs 🙂
think you can get them with shimano and sram freewheels
