[#4279371]

Been lurking for ages, now dipping the first toe in. Used to race mtbs, now more cross and road rider, but still like getting dirty!

I guess I'm due some abuse, judging by previous efforts, so I've put my thick skin on.

Not really me, I'm about 10 years off wearing a hat while I'm driving, and 3 years away from Saga car insurance.
I should have pretended to be a lady, I think.

I didn't know I would be interviewed, do I need to be wearing a suit?
Headsets usually include crown races and I wouldnt use a rock to fit a new crank....

I know this one

its either an overpriced filing cabinet or a good example of a successful english designed and built iconic bike.

I've ridden one for a day and it was actually very capable.

You're at the shops, right now, aren't you... getting some weedkiller and wood-stain so that when you post pictures of your custom 953 frame with 650b wheels (+ neat tyre-logo alignment and correct hose lengths) you don't get flamed for the state of your garden...?

I know about the Orange 5 from reading about it on here, but I don't get the crown race question. I have been lurking for a while, and my real name is Roy. My mum and dad haven't said sorry about it.

Even the collective mind of STW couldn't get to an answer on the crown race question. But it did confirm that it involved magic cats and celery (and an over-sized pigeon, from memory).

welcome to the forum, you can actually get some good advice on here if you [s]ignore the bickering and the nonsense[/s] stick to asking questions that no one really gives a toss about and are of no consequence to anyone.
