[#2483893]

Getting a half link chain for my SS, can I split and re-join using my standard chain tool?

Thinking of a gusset chain, any good?

What else is out there?

Running 32 16 and want the wheel base as short as poss and the half link would let me achieve this.

Don't do it! They stretch really badly.

Just get a single halflink

Thanks guys I have just done a google half link search and I have found loads of unhappy comments.

I bet most of the chains are made in the same factory just boxed up with different brand names too.

I think I will stick with what I have got.

I run a single KMC half link on a KMC chain to get my chain as short as possble. Buy genuine half links, I got mine from charliethebikemonger.
