Anyone tried this? With the Carbon Fatty Fork, which I guess would fit all nice with the Scandal's tapered head tube.
Just starting to consider it for my Scandal.
Does the Scandal work well half fat?

I thought this was going to be some revelation regarding dairy products.

Scandal designed around 470mm fork, Fatty fork 470mm. 26in fat bike tyre, very similar ish rolling radius to 29in wheel.

I half-fatted a Lurcher for a bit. It was brilliant.

I'm no longer working at On-One, but thought I'd throw some input in here.

I'll have a semi fat (29+ fronted) unit next week.

Brant - New you'd have tried it. Glad you say it was awesome. Did you try it without slackset? Although I was thinking about putting a slackset in there while I was changing things around anyway. Have been riding my Scandal with the 100mm fork locked out, it's ace but on really steep stuff I'm crossing the front and tripping over a bit too easily

Rorschach - look forward to hearing how it goes.

Carbon fatty fork is great value, just stick it on and ride, it won't kill you and you might just enjoy it!
