Fed up of Mendips gloop, I cycled over to FoD today and nipped round Verderer's and Freeminer's Trails. Latter was a bit muddy, former was a pleasant break. How about Haldon Forest down at Exeter - armoured tracks? Worth a visit?

Always find it drains pretty well and is rideable all year round. Need to watch out for closures during high wind which you'll get at any trail centre.
It does tend to divide in terms of how good it is as a trail centre but the red is pretty good, and the blue is a lot of fun albeit not technical.

According to Facebook red trail was still shut yesterday after crap weather earlier in the week.
But ordinarily it's my go to 'crap weather' trails when everywhere else is a slop fest...
