despite the olympic nay sayers amongst the collective, whos off to Hadleigh Farm?
Ive got tickets for the women's race
Me & Mrs giffer of to the mens final.
Bit pissed to find the £50 tickets give you exactly the same access as the £20's though 🙄
I won't see you there this time Al. I did the test event but more important folk get to do the real thing.
Me + 2 others in for the men's race, gonna take 3hrs to get there so I better get a good peg to watch!
Mister P, I am there all week, still trying to work out why lol
Me and Mrs I have tickets to the Mens race on the Sunday 😀
Bit pissed to find the £50 tickets give you exactly the same access as the £20's though
Is that definitely true?
Surely they couldn't get away with that...
Me and Mrs for the Sunday also!
Yep I've got 4 for the men's race!
Bit pissed to find the £50 tickets give you exactly the same access as the £20's though
Do they? Surely there must be some difference? There's a grandstand at the finish line, was sort of assuming the cheap seats didn't get access to that?
Me, both days
4 tickets to womens race
2 tickets to mens (still debating which favoured son to take)
8 tickets to Womans race, I got the 'price your age tickets' for the kids.
Were the mens and ladies race priced differently as Im sure the adult ones were neither 20 or 50??
Got tickets for the mens finals, dragging wifey along with me. 😀

Mens were £20 or £45, I thought womens were the same.
neither 20 or 50
men's were 20 or 45.
I hope I'll be getting something extra for the £25 difference.
I'm in, 2 tickets for the womens mtb 🙂
Going down for the weekend as I want to make the most of it.
Really looking forward to it. Just bought MBR as its got an article on the course/riders etc.
I've got 4 tickets to the men's race. I'm not sure whether to take my girls (4&6) who may not appreciate it, or a couple of mates...
according to the limpic site the £20 tickets just seem tobe for the award ceremony not the race..?!?!
Not sure about that....
But I have £45 for the men's too, I'm hoping to sit somewhere for that, but my tickets don't make it obvious
Myself, wife and kids going to womens. Kids are even more excited than me!
Whole family heading to the mens. Any ideas on local campsites?
Sorry 45 not 50 (just mentally rounded them up)
All they say is general access, same as the 20 ones.
Going to the men's mtb with wife and kids. We have the £45 tickets, and the kids are paying their age. Hopefully the weather picks up by then!
Also going to the first session at the velodrome.
Have tickets for the men's. Will be a tad miffed if there's no difference in tickets having bought the pricier ones though.
Looking forward to it - hope the weathers nice.
i have a pair for the womens. a load of mates have them as well, should be a group of 20 of us!
KZP894 YGM 😀
Tickets for me & the other half at the Mens...
Really looking forward to it!
Men's, Sunday for me too. Five tickets, four of us going- one spare ticket 🙁
Then catch the early o-clock ferry to France. En route to Morzine, via rellies in Poitiers.
What tyres for shifting a spare Olympics ticket?
All weekend, because I've got to be; thanks G4S!
There's 4 of us going to the men's, £45 Tickets.
I'll be a little bit peeved if it's the same as the £20 one.
Or is the train ticket the extra?
The train companies are making money out of it!
I'm not going on the train, how many others won't be using
the train (even if I was I get free travel on the train).
I've got 4 for the mens event
Taking the wife and bairn to both days. Must remember not to drool at Ms. Batty too much on the Saturday 8)
Really looking forward to it!
Anyone has spare tickets for the Sunday let me know, my sister and brother in law would love to come along.
Ambrose if you need to get rid of a ticket mail me I need to go.
I've got two for the men's. Me and my 12 year old daughter.
Got some mens tickets on the cheap after losing out in the ballot. Should be good.
2 x of the higher price tickets to the womens here. Taking my 8 year old daughter with me...

If that is the only difference i'm gonna hulk out
yep - taking the family. Looking forward to it!
So what are the differences between the 20 and 45 quid tickets?
Are the £45 tickets for the 3000 seated grandstand?
Just read some previous posts, just curious 🙂
Got 2 tickets for the women's race through the official ticketing system and got 2 tickets for the mens race through a BC draw - so a sunny weekend in Southend!
Are the £45 tickets for the 3000 seated grandstand?
That's what I've assumed, although I intend to go out on the course.
I figured it was once in a lifetime, and I'd be pissed off to find that for £25 extra I could have had a better view, so got the expensive ones!
I had no ticket choice on the second attempt, but at 25 quid more I wasnt that bothered, I just wanted to get 2 tickets and go! 🙂
I am curiuous as to see what the difference in ticket prices will be on the day.
I am looking forward to walking around the course too. It looks like there will be a large screen in front of the grandstand.
Bring it all on! 🙂
Slownorm- I need your email address. Can you contact me please? Or anyone else needing a £45:00 ticket for Sunday 12th.
O778O988381 should do it.
