[#10799006]

Considering Habit Carbon 3 and Spetral CF 7.0. For UK trails, bike parks etc: which would people recommend and why? I know Spectral has more travel but reviews suggest both are decent all-rounders.
Currently on a 'hardcore hardtail' so this is my first foray into full bounce.
Had also considered a Jeffsy...

I would have thought the Neuron is more comparable with the Habit and the Spectral more comparable with the Jekyll.

So you probably need to decide what size wheels and travel you prefer as a starting point.

I looked at both of these bikes but ended up with a Sonder Evol NX1 Revelation, I couldn't afford the carbon version but the carbon habit wasn't far from the aluminium ones anyway (not a weight that would effect my riding)
The Evol has comparable geometry to the habit with 140mm rear 150mm front and I'm glad I did, great bike when climbing and absolutely sweet on descents and its put together in Britain. Give it a look

Also take a look at the bird Aeris lt120 is great but of kit (built in the UK) had chance to properly demo in Wales, which gave me great confidence in the bike.

So many bikes in and around that category. Not sure any is 'best' for you. I wouldn't get too hung up on travel, there really is little disadvantage to caring around a bit too much travel these days. Narrow it down to a few bikes as best you can, and go with whatever you can get the best deal on...there is no wrong answer.

Thanks for replies. I am fickle and driven by aesthetics, and don't tend to read all the specs in as much detail as I perhaps should. I just want something that looks good, bounces well, and ideally takes a bottle cage (thus ruining the aesthetics I know). Currently my eye is drawn to a 2nd hand Foxy. eBay seller is ignoring me though.
The Bird looks good, might arrange a demo if I don't go for the Foxy...
Trail bike is a wide category, it seems.

Extremely wide! If you are going off aesthetics then just pick the one you like the look of best with 130-160 mm travel.
