Bagged a cheap Eagle GX groupset with that eBay 20% deal over Christmas, but due to panic buying 10 mins before the voucher expired managed to end up with a GXP crankset rather than BB30.

A quick Google suggests there are adapters available. Can anyone recommend one which is a pain free long-term solution or would I be better off just sourcing another crankset? Ta!

Get a praxis works adapter, far better than BB30, I put one on my stigmata (& a gxp crank) and it's been great

I've got some adapters for GXP to BB30 (Enduro ones). Happy to sell them if you're interested? I switched to some BB30 cranks so they're unused now. They were fine whilst I used them though.

I got fed up with my BB30 on my lefty and so converted it to 68/73mm threaded .
The adaptors creeked like hell

Had my bike rebuilt and gonna test ride it at the weekend

Mines an Xt crank Ht2 but you can get the gxp bb to fit 68/73

Get a praxis works adapter
The first line on their web page is THIS IS NOT AN ADAPTER ๐Ÿ™‚

sounds like it might be the easiest & least creaky solution though, ta!

thanks, I'll probably go down the Praxis route though if I can find one at a good price!

Zilog6128 - You don't say what frame the bottom bracket is for so I'm not sure whether what I have will be useful to you but I recently bought a Specialized Epic which I wanted to run my Rotor Rex cranks on so bought a Praxis Works adapter. It turns out that the adapter is too short (shell is 73mm and the adapter is for 68mm shell*) so it's no good to me. It's practically brand new but as it was opened and fitted, I couldn't send it back. I even have some surplus Hope GXP bearing adapters to run GXP cranks on standard/Shimano style bearings which you're welcome to as well as I no longer have SRAM cranks on any of my bikes.

* In my defence, I was sold the adapter on the promise that it was for 68-73mm BB shells; I'm not a buffoon.

Ive just this week put a FSA adaptor on my cannondale with bb30. It presses in with a smear of loctite and then you can use a conventional external BB. After reading on here I put the adaptor in the freezer and frame on radiator before I started. Went in quite easily with 2 flat steel plates and threaded bar.

It's a Cannondale Trigger so unfortunately 73mm like yours otherwise I'd have had the Praxis! Interestingly whilst double-checking in the manual, I saw that Cannondale make an official adapter for this purpose, it's bloody expensive though (more than the Praxis, plus you then have to supply a BB!)
