I have a gxp bb off an elita road crankset on my firex mtb cranks and they have had play from new. Is there a difference between the two models please?

I did it the other way round, MTB gxp BB off an FSA K-Force crankset in my road bike with SRAM force cranks, the only difference I could see BTW the road and MTB BB's was the length of the plastic spacer. Everything fitted ok otherwise.

Play in a new gxp bb usually means the crank bolts not done up tight enough.
