Just doing a new build for a mate and noticed Sram don’t supply any gear housing with their shifter. What gear housing is everyone using for eagle? Is Shimano ok to use or is there a difference between Sram and Shimanos inner wire? Thanks

SRAM inner is 1.1mm and Shimano is 1.2mm.
In reality, I've always used SRAM inner cable and shifters with Shimano outer and never had a problem, so I wouldn't over think it too much. The other way around would probably be more of a problem as a Shimano inner cable is likely to run a bit sticky in a SRAM outer.
