GX AXS Mech issue -screw for bushing/pivot point missing

Morning folks.
Has anyone had an issue with the above mech? And managed to fix it? I’ve got dodgy shifting in the middle of the block, and have been meticulous in the set up.  It’s had the hanger checked, new chain, block and jockeys.   Bit of puzzling led me to this:

and this looks to be exactly what is up.   It has a creak/play there and the bolt isn’t present.  I’m off to source a 60mm m3 bolt.  It was an ebay purchase about 3 weeks ago and I’ve pinged a message to the seller.  Spent a lot of the weekend trying to set up.  I’m not sure the bolt will work.  Expensive lesson methinks possibly.

Really common issue, had it with mine and just popped a M3x6mm button head in and has been faultless ever since.

If you caught it too late and the bushings are now knackered, then Leap Components do a replacement bushing kit for the GX AXS derailleur

That’s great to hear. Brilliant. Thanks for that response. I can’t get play when it would be extended and furthest inboard, but when in its pulling it’s self together for the high gears I get a creaking/play.

Oddly I had a similar issue on Saturday, shifting was ok in all but one or two gears in the middle, I stripped the bike and have ordered a new chain as it’s pretty worn, I noticed that the mech was tight on the hanger allowing little movement, I tried the clean and line but it’s too worn so I’ve ordered a new kit.
Interesting about the hole mine also has one without a bolt in, is it an M3 flange button head people are putting in as I popped a 10mm button head in the hole and it’s not very deep,  the only benefit I can see would be nipping the two parts together?

After reading the article I don’t think my issue is caused by the bolt missing, however just to be on the safe side I ordered a pack of m3 flange bolts from eBay for 99p delivered, I cheaped out and got 5mm as they where a chunk cheaper.
