Just in the process of fitting a Gusset Ext24 BB. The shell's 73mm so with a Shimano I'd be fitting it with no spacers non drive side, and just the stinger drive side. However, the thing came with no less than 4 spacers. The inner plastic tube is much shorter than a shimano HT2 one. Measuring it against the Shimano pressed alll the way into the cups, the the o ring seal of the inner tube only just sits inside the BB cup. I am worried that when fitted the inner tube won't seal.

Anyone else fitted one and can put my mind at rest that I don't need spacers either side (the cranks go on OK and preload sets OK) and that the inner tube will seat and not contribute to a gritty rusty death after a mile off road?

You are correct. I've just removed my Gusset EX24 BB from my Kona with a 73mm shell, it is as smooth as the day I put it in, despite the huge pool of water which was sitting in my bottom bucket shell, So I guess the seals o the tube work fine.
