Something from Saw VII?
Pedal powered water pump?
There's a generator to the side of one bike with what looks like a smoothing capacitor on the side, that's powering the big green thing that looks a bit like a pump perhaps.
very close samuri....
Some bit of contemporary tat that Lord Saatchi's giving to the nation?
Ragley Mmmbop?

PMSL!
Water-powered kiddy ride. Kind of like a see-saw, but compact. And for lazy kids.
Stick a Jones label on it and people will pay thousands for it.
air pump / bellows thingy for a forge
Some kind of bike powered air pump/bellows that has been modified to now run on an electric single phase motor (as given away by the start capacitor).
That contraption from the 'Bruno' film? ๐
Is this from an old WWII shelter?

hora and scraprider you are bang on. On the mob at the mo, but I'll try and post some more pics of the listed air raid shelter in clapton tomorrow.
Loved to go down one of those. Those are our history ๐
I'm guessing its for air?
I'm pretty sure it's a bike powered air exchanger:
which can be found here
the shelter itself looks like this currently:
2m thick RC walls and roof!
we're hopefully putting a few more storeys on top and the shelter will be used as a museum.
How big is it inside and how much of the internal space is below ground level???
Built in 1938?
Looks like A bomb hit it .
The residential building in the middle- I'm guessing that thats a flat about a shop? (shop towards front).
What a view with those buildings on each side!
