Trying to work out which day at the weekend I'll go riding. Metcheck says dryer tomorrow, wet Sunday, BBC says exactly the opposite. Any other recommendations for a third opinion?

90% of the time I find Metcheck a total waste of time, very innaccurate.

I generally use the raw data available (Rainfall radar on BBC, Pressure charts on Met Office etc) and forecast my own.

IHN - If you're thinking of the Purbecks ride tomorrow, I reckon there'll be a band of rain passing over, west to east around 8-9am, then it'll clear up to a decent day: Sunny spells with maybe the odd shower. Fairly light winds, 15 degrees if we're lucky, so a bit cooler than of late.

Next.

Isn't Metcheck the site owned by the nonce? I wouldn't even bother looking at it
