just a quicky. planning on installing a stealth reverb, by enlarging an existing hole in my Norco frame, where currently a X shaped cable holder bolts onto it. the X shaped holder currently guides my external reverb hose and rear brake hose.

Is it possible to buy a bung that might fit over the hole? where from anything I can fit that will also help to guide/clamp the remaining rear brake cable?

Not sure I'd want to mess around drilling the frame in that area even if there is a small hole already. I'd use the cable clamp as is then drill the seat tube for the reverb hose

Its not really though is it or you cable will come in at a funny angle. It would need to be oval inshape to lie it flat along the tube.

Fair enough. It looks like an m4 and you'll want the cable to enter at an angle so I'd say it was quite a bit more than just drilling the threads, but its your frame/teeth.

I drilled my old BFE ( but don't tell anyone). I used a short length of transparent brake bleeding hose, cut along its length and wrapped around the dropper hose then inserted into the frame. Works very nicely and is not too ugly.

If i wanted to neaten it up i'd find a nicer one sided clip.

Or dremel the existing one.

Or put one cable on each side.

I don't care about your teeth either ๐Ÿ˜€

But if you don'tput an oval holein it'll look gash.

I'd put an oval hole there in my fame.

But I'm ugly so crashings not a problem.

Oval maybe eliptical if i'm feelung fruity.

aha, you think it will look gash. Now I'm interested. You think seat tube instead?

there are two bolts under the down tube that could run clips. i could perhaps drill a hole in the BB and out that way?

not my frame but you can see them here

the hole will need to be oval. I bought a box of rubber grommets from somewhere when I did mine - just can't remember where !

Here's the guide I followed - if you frame has a similar welding pattern then you might be best to do the same - Turner recommended it for their frames.

http://forums.mtbr.com/turner/stealth-mod-drilling-holes-your-alloy-frame-917427.html

If you do that mod I think I have some rubber grommets of the same size I used so could send you one.

I've done it twice now - here's the latest one :

All that trouble for just 35mm of drop ๐Ÿ™‚

n.b. a dremel is your friend, and some bits like these :
