[Closed] Grizedale Riverbed descent - has it changed??

Any info about how this is?
Off to the lakes with the family for a weekend and have a pass out for a ride one day. Fancy riding from the front door so have planned a route from Claife Heights over to Grizedale. I have to get from Moor Top down to the visitor centre (to meet the family for lunch). Usually I'd have taken the rocky Riverbed descent but I heard a rumour this has been trashed/sanatised/changed during the recent forest works. Is this the case? Is it still worth doing?
Alternatives would be TNF final descent or the black run instead?
