front!

if the back washes out youve a good chance of saving it, if the rear does the potential to loose some teeth is much higher!

Front. Less weight to force traction when pedaling, needs to turn sharper and quite handy for braking too. Rear slippage is far less consequential and easier to control than a front skid.

Rear slippage is good but did cause me to do the flip sideways when it decided to stop slipping abruptly the other day!

Go out and ride and try to force some loss of traction and see what you prefer.

But yeah unless you're completely mental you'll prefer the rear to wash out first.

Far better (and far more fun) to have the back go first. When I am feeling particularly rad I like to run a super tacky high roller up front and a crossmark on the back. Loose as a goose.
