[#3878892]

Entered the Bike Chain draw to win a mini(?) coaching session/mojo test ride.
Just back and still buzzing. Andy at Ridelines was great, handled the six of us with our different levels well, the Mojo SL I got to ride was great and the trails were bone dry. Fantastic stuff. I even learned a wee (large really)bit about cornering.
Big thanks to Mark from TBC and Andy from Ridelines. Seriously thinking about an all day session now!!

Oooh - I remember that buzz! Andy is a real nice guy!

After doing a small group thing and then a 1-2-1 somewhere else (all from gift vouchers) I'd recommend a half day 1-2-1 anytime as a follow up.

Legs and hips are sore this morning. Didnt realise how sore moving about on the bike makes you!!

You'll be sore due to using small delicate muscles, rather than just the larger ones, cock pit manipulations are essential for developing your skills and techniques.

You might not realise it but all of the best riders float over the top of the bike staying centred and as weightless as possible for the most part and simply lean or angle the bike / tyres beneath them.

Unless they want to add weight or G (gravity) force then you have to force your weight into your tyres, think of it like bouncing on a set of scales by droppng your weight then pushing. This means you get more grip when braking or cornering etc.

Go get a coaching session or five, once you start developing your techniques every time you ride is amazing, because you always get better and better.

Also there are loads of good dvd's and books about that really enhance your understanding of what's involved and work well combined with coaching.

One of the first techniques I learnt years ago was the art of bailing, probably best to start there and borrow one of your friends bikes ๐Ÿ˜‰

Glad you had a good time. Going to spend the next few weeks practicing licking the ground and not falling off in corners like Andy.
