Slightly OT, but I've been asked to design some road cycling jerseys. I'm trawling the web at the moment for references and I thought I'd ask opinions

What road jersey design(s) do you think are great/classic/clever/etc.

Thanks

The classic/retro panel/band jersey looks great, but it is getting a bit old hat with the amount of modern repros/copycats.

I always liked:

20 years or so ago I had both the PDM and the Toshiba tops. I also had the panel shorts for Toshiba too.

I don't think that it was looked down on quite so much back then.

The old Peugeot checker board design was a classic along with the Molteni (above) and simple Bianchi celeste.

From mtb side the Bonty 'rasta' one was nice that was was copied / influenced the Brixton Cycles jersey.

Owned all 3 at one time or another.

Agree with the number of copies and things becoming old hat but this has always been a classic.

And by the way, no world champion collar and cuffs allowed. Ever. Unless you are, or have been, of course ๐Ÿ™‚

Have been waiting for months for Prendas to get more Peugeot shirts in stock and finally got an email last night to say they were now in. Will be delivered tomorrow morning. ๐Ÿ˜†
Tempted by this Molteni one too.

VC Bristol have the Peugot check design as their colours. It looks better in white on black IMHO - too much white isn't a good look.

Subjective of course, but:

(... and that's not being ironic either, a 'where the wild-things are' jersey would work for me too ... ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

I quite like the new MPLS Bike Love jersey too:
Made by / in collaboration with twin-six, and maybe it shows a bit (?).

This is my favourite. Ironically I've now eaten so many teacakes that it doesn't fit ๐Ÿ˜›

Great, thanks.

The Molteni one is a classic. If only I had legs worthy of wearing one!

We redesigned our club kit a couple of years ago. It's my favourite.
