[Closed] Gravity Seat Post Snapped

Only a year old But going along I sit on me saddle
and the next thing im falling off the bike as the
seat post snapped.
It snapped where one of the height positions is.
Think its a poor casting

I will put pics on soon

Had it happen twice, was replaced straight away both times. Went with a hell of a bang the first time.

Wrong mail addy I think, that's for gravitydropper dropper posts
Different company, I think fsa own gravity components,
EDIT if it is a gravity post and not a gravity dropper post

Khani This is a Gravity Dropper Classic seat post.

Cupid Stunt it was a hell of a cracking noise

If it looks like it's going to take a while, drop me an email, I've got a spare 4inch 2-2 drop one somewhere you could borrow til you get a new one. It's got bad shims in but still works, just wobbles.

I broke mine twice, once as you did in the middle position (was told that they often break there and it shouldn't be used) and once the whole pull button assembly came off in my hand. After these two incidents I sold it.

But I still have my old Thompson that came with the bike
and just riding pump tracks for winiter

Just lernt to copy and paste

Tanks for that info Steveh only thing is though's two
positions i need most!

Mine did the same. It lasted me 3 years so I wasn't too disappointed. Happened half way through a lap of MM. 3-4 miles standing above a jagged spear wasn't much fun.

Snapped mine, contacted them, sent it back, they replaced it foc and paid for postage, also sent me a spare inner shaft too, service as good as Hope.
