Does anyone know where you can buy the full lever part from looked online but can only find odd bits for it or something that would work as a bodge?

I have a load of lever bits, probably enough to build a good one from. Send me a message if you want them. I used a lever from a Kronolog, which was much better and there are lots of other options now. The Bontrager lever is pretty cheap and would be much better than the GD lever.

Cheers for the offer just ordered a bontrager one see how that goes anything is better than the original one
