I fancy having a pair of 650b wheels built
Can anyone recommend what rims to use ?
Planning to use tyres up to 50mm
Don’t want anything to heavy though
May as well also ask would you go with hope or dt Swiss hubs ?
Thanks

The last pair I built were 25mm (internal) Superstar rims on XT hubs (Dynamo front FWIW). I'm using 47mm tyres on those and they seem to be a good mix.

If these are a second set of wheels, I'd suggest using exactly the same hubs as the existing set so that cassette and disc positions remain consistent.
