Riding home the other night I heard a progressively louder creaking noise when pedalling which I traced to the rear hub. I removed the wheel, plugged in a cassette tightening tool and noted that there is some play when engaging the freehub.
My hubs are cheapie Formula items, purchased new with my bike some eight months ago.
Could it be bearing wear? If so, does anyone have any links for technical help as I've tried google to no avail.
