Shiehallion for us...pics just uploading. Corker of a day. calm wind at the top. Then down for a BBQ with pals on the shore of Loch Tay, kids swimming. 8)

stayhigh, yup up around Colwyd, over towards Trefrew, past Crafnant and then down into Capel Curig. As you say, the machine is just by the waterway towards the top.
Definitely a route for better weather!
I was up there with friends and we rode it at the end of april in the wind and rain. One of the best rides I've done and look forward to doing it again in better weather.

No pics but a day spent indoors decorating & fitting a new radiator in my lads bedroom.
Family BBQ this evening so Mrs took the kids in the car & I rode over & back on the Kona Ute, about 17 miles. Great to stretch the legs.
