Can anyone recommend some trails in Gran Canaria based on their own experiences of the island? Mainly after cross country/trail riding. Also interested in the best areas for road biking.

Me and two friends used Freemotion's bikes, both road and mtb, on their guided rides. Really good days out. On a previous holiday, the wife and I went on two of their trekking days, and really enjoyed those, too.
I rented a bike from Freemotion - good service. They're the people to speak to...
I rode 2 days MTB with Free Motion the year before last.
Wasn't blown away by the trails the guide took us on, In the past week I've ridden The Lakes, The Peaks and Hebden Bridge and I'd rate all of them as better rides than I did in GC.
Also, when I went all the hire bikes were fitted with Conti Mountain Kings which offered bugger all grip and saw me puncture five times.
