I use Ride With GPS to log my rides and the mapping stuff is pretty good

Are you wanting to create a GPX to upload to a GPS?

I use www.walkhighlands.co.uk - if you register for free you have access to 1:25k OS mapping.

I also use http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm but they only have 1:50k mapping but the bonus of a Google satellite image of the area alongside the map.

neninja - like that wheresthepath linky - great being able to look at map and see whats on the ground actually linked together side by side - already looked at some bridleways i'd dismissed as probably being just tracks to farms and seen some connections not obvious from map
