Been using the Chesty mount and finding it wobbles even when as tight as it can be.
Anyone got any suggestions on heath robinson ways of getting it more stable?
This vid is from the weekend and wobbles a bit.
You do have to wear it really really tight! Does yours record a horrible clicky sound? If so, put a little card between the camera mount and the chesty mount to stop the noise, and possibly the jerks. I think you can buy a GoPro rubber bit.
Badly setup rear suspension? My friends looked like that, but that was a hardtail in the Alps.
LOL! Yeah, rear suspension is terrible. Physio tried his best but my knees aren't what they used to be ๐
Try this:

There is another bit of software I have used to. But cant remember the name...
I'm guessing its a hardtail then Bushwacked?
Could it be the SD Card is too slow? which generally results in poor jerky footage.
Premiere Warp Stabiliser would sort it, but its not the solution you really want. Which can then make it look a little too smooth!
Stick a bit of card between the mounts, see if that sorts it.
Ride faster?
Have you got the lil go-pro rubber boot - the white one that stops the quick release mount moving around once clipped in position:

Its the Lil white thing in the LH forefront of the image.
Oh and PLUS 1 for the slow SD card theory.
Looks like camera bounce rather than dropped frames to me, but a Transcent 16gb class 10 card is under a tenner from Play.
Check for play between the qr bracket and chesty base plate. Shim with a layer or two of insulation tape to cut out any high frequency vibration or use the white bung.
Never considered the speed of the card. (Just bought a class 10)
Considered riding faster though.
Will dig out the white bung.
