To the organisers, the paramedics and the chaps who helped my mate Sam after he had stacked it. Only got one chaps name - Dave on a orange cotic soul. Asking every bloke on a giant anthem if his name was Darren must have been quite a chore....

Anyways looks like he has a broken collar bone, concussion and might have broken his hand too, he was in good spirits when they were taking him off to A&E. Luckily his bike was fine.

Thank you again.

ha! I was about to post asking if anyone knew how he was - no problem. I would have been a bit of an arse if I'd left him. Hope he mends soon.

It was a lovely day for riding. Shame he ended up in an ambulance.

I'll be giving him a call later to see how the xrays went, but it didn't look too badly displaced so hopefully he will be back on the bike soon. We were planning to pair up for torq 12:12 ๐Ÿ™

Thanks again Dave

what a good guess as a cotic rider you'd use this forum ๐Ÿ™‚

Wouldn't it be nice if the organisers did something nice and gave Dave a free entry into the next race! But despire that, it's super karma points for DaveJ!

Sorry to hear about your mate.

I wasn't riding but was wandering about with my 8 year old and a camera, I did get some photos although nothing brilliant, mainly the 4 hr people but if you have your race no. I am happy to look through and email over any that have you in them.
