And what tires!
I'm tempted to bring a spare front wheel with a hillbilly on it... If it's proper muddy, having actual traction may be an advantage!

It very rarely gets proper muddy on Tunnel Hill, if it's really wet it just gets like dysentery, it'll splatter all up your legs but won't clog anything up.
The wet off camber roots though........
Mk1 Forekasters F&R, I may or may not have been practising for
The wet off camber roots though……..
But I have had a heavy cold & cough / mono since Saturday, so there you go - excuses in early 😀
The wet off camber roots though……..
Our son was over in Area 51 on Wednesday night having a pre-race practice.... slipped on a root, crashed, dropper lever pushed his thumb back.... broken.... now out for perhaps 6 weeks. We may still go over to watch.
I’ll be there, looking forward to it! Area 51 tends not to get too muddy (I might regret saying that looking at the forecast!)
Vet + for me, 4 laps of flat out…
Natrix junior will be there, hopefully avoiding those slippy roots.......
About to head off from Brighton....see ya all there!
I'll be in the 5 lap hobby at 1130.... Right in the middle of the predicted rain!

I was but am out - tweaked a hamstring & my lower back at work last night..
Well I enjoyed that. After a year of woes, only six weeks of good training to then come down with a cold last Monday I’m pleased to have been consistent and can ride the distance. Placing doesn’t matter to me today.

if only my glasses didn’t fog up at the top of every short climb….

So now it’s rest month, let the beer commence and I look forward to next years altered plan to accommodate EBV and the resulting Mono - racing for fun rather than points.

Jnr came 3rd in Juvenile so that’s a great result for him.
Well I think those who set off earlier in the day had a nicer time than those racing later! Good fun though.
It was certainly wet and muddy!! Good fun sliding around on fasttrack tyres! The rain was persistent and the track really suffered on the 4th lap in vet + but happy with an 11th (I think). Good to meet you Dr P too…
Yay, I actually finished 6th! Chuffed with that! Results are up on www.timelaps.co.uk
I walked over from the Canal Centre through Tunnel Hill and watched for a few hours.... so wet. Well done to all.
