I’m either being stupid or my google skills are on strike so need some help

I’ve got a sora 2x crankset I’m looking to convert to a 1x chainring but I can’t seem to find a suitable replacement anywhere

I’m looking for a 34t, narrow wide ring that has the funny Shimano offset bolt spacing

Pretty sure I’m being stupid but just cannot seem to find a suitable replacement

Ideally as cheap as possible without buying cheese as it’s destined for the commuter bike

Let’s see what you can find that I haven’t…go!

Garbaruk possibly? They do rings with various offsets to suit 2x conversions.

Not cheap though and I'm pretty sure they only go down to 38t

I converted my 105 cranks to 1x with a superstar narrow wide chainring. Works perfectly, only very minor criticism is the interface between chainring and cranks isn't as aesthetically pleasing as a shimano outer ring but that is being picky.

Which Sora version and what;s the BCD - the model will be on the back of the crank. SJS and SPA normally have a good selection.

The Deckas chainrings are available from Amazon if you're reluctant to order from AliExpress

Thanks for all the suggestions and links, from what I can tell, it SEEMS the Deckas ones are the only ones that will fit so far

Starting to wonder if it’d be easier for the long run to find a cheap 1x crankset

If it helps, here’s what I have

I have an unused 38t in black that would suit. It’s a J&L like these.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302375911871?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=6hPdK0vgQOK&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=W2ZfiyqDT6u&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I bought it to use with an R8000 crankset but it never made it on to the bike. £25 posted if you’re interested.

@shedbrewed thankyou for that, thanks for the offer as well but I think 34t is kind of my sweet spot for this bike so am tempted to stick with 34

But will definitely look into those J&L rings as they look to be just the ticket
