Hello to all on the forum from a newbie and a quick question.
I've searched google and this forum to no avail but has anybody compiled a list/locations of biking spots (not routes) for Google Earth (.kmz file) within England for public download. I know another DH forum has worked together to make one but I'm looking for some trail/xc rides.
Cheers guys
what's the use of the places without knowing the routes ?
er... to explore?
er... to explore?
you can explore anywhere - that's where new routes come from ๐
Haha swings 'n roundabouts innit. I'm pretty new to this side of trail riding as I just tend to go out and get lost. I just like to play dectective using whatever tools at hand however, I realise Google Earth maybe abit cack at the route plotting biz but its great for looking for visual clues to hidden tracks/woodlands etc.
Lets start again.
Hi Flynster, welcome to the forum.
You might want to try www.bikely.com or www.bikehike.co.uk where you can plot /upload/download routes in .gpx format. The MTB routes are generally in MTB areas and you can look at the overlays on google satellite images.
If you are looking for man made trail centres you could try this website
