Can anyone here please point me in the direction of some good value winter bib shorts please?
I've got some Pearl Izumi thermal shorts from around 2013 that I've been using. They're very durable, generally well made but the pad is thin and doesn't offer very good coverage round the front. I'm using these for the commute so the coverage issue is a problem once I reach work.
What else is out there at the moment that you can recommend? Something cheaper (less than £80) with a better pad, coverage and durable will be just what I'm looking for.
Decathlon 700 series. Very warm, good pad and long in leg too. Under £80 and often under £50.
Edit, this years 520 are last years 700 and so have the good pad and extra layers on the thighs and chest. Yours for £55, bargain. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/520-membrane-cycling-bib-tights-black-blue-id_8343077.html
They're not shorts Lunge... 😐
Oh bugger, didn't read that properly did I? So err, yes, the linked are great tights but not shirts and so no use at all. Winter shorts? No idea, I have some cheap Planet-X ones but I don't think they sell them anymore. No idea at all, sorry all.
I've been using Endura thermalite bib 3/4 shorts last few years and wish I'd bought two pairs -maybe next payday. Think they sell online for circa 79 quids.
For good quality in that budget I like the dhb Vaeon ones. The Pro ones come with a good pad too. They do a padless one too if you just want to wear your usual bibs underneath.

Edit... Doh!!!! Shorts! Well sure they'll do a similar short.
For autumnal bib shorts I'm liking the Sportful NoRain Fiandre bib.
