Looking around for something to race on next year and ALU frames seem to be a no brainer for skint consumer like myself. Other than planetX what else is there in the sub £200 bracket.?

I recently picked up a Moser Speed from merlin,

Merlin Cycles Moser Speed

For £150 I got a frame, fork with a carbon lower & alu steerer, headset, seatclamp and the band on for a front mech.

Frame is nice quality and there is just enough room for a pair of Crud Road Racer 2 Mudgaurds, I think you will struggle to get a better deal for the money.
