I just converted my all mountain bike to single cog on the front but now my chain is coming off whenever I go downhill fast, so recommend me a decent chain guard on a tight budget

Superstar is about the only sensibly priced one. You get what you pay for though and should be able to get a 2nd hand e.13 xcx or MRP 1x for a similar price.

They're really well made, well priced and look pimp.

Do you have ISCG 05 tabs? I have got a brand new MRP AMG I can sell you for a good price as I bought ISCG 05 when I needed ISCG.... der.

But better than that get a rear mech with a clutch, they are the business.

If you've not already fitted a thick/thin chainring, then do that first, IME it's far more effective than a chainguide.

I'll have an MRP 1X for sale, if I can find it, excellent wee guide but then the reason I'll be selling it is that the Works chainring makes it unneccesary, so you shouldn't buy it from me 😉
