AW Cycles in Caversham, not Central Reading, but walking distance.

Evans

SCUK and Action Bikes have both been OK when I've used them

Mountain Trax in Barkham always seem horrificly expensive, £16.99 for some brake pads, I initialy thought that was the price of a pair untill the lad corrected me!

I'd 2nd AW cycles.
If you can go a little further (Tadley),Pedalon have a good range.

action bikes is a tiny shop, evans has a bigger range... but as mentioned above AW cycles is worth travelling out for.

Mountain High shut down this year.

Evans or AW are the best central Reading options but the trek to Pedalon is worth it imo.

Mountain Trax is actually my favourite in the area, and I've not found them to be that expensive for what I was buying, but it is a car drive out of town.
