as it says im not really up on my rims and wouldnt not what to go for.
i currently got a set of sun ringle exq 29's on my fritzz they have been good over the past year but i need a change
cheers
If you want cheap but bombproof Cube, Im using Superstar AM490 rims on my Frittzz, and theyre great. Nice and wide as well so the bigger tyres dont roll as much as with the Sun Equalizers that come as standard.
i was looking at a mavic but dont know which one, i had 721's on my DH bike
Stans Flow. Used them on my Enduro for a while now.
Stans FLOW X2
superstar rims have been brill for me.
Got to recommend the Flow for 'am' riding.
Very light for the strength and handling blasting rocky descents on my Meta really well right now.
Downsides - expensive if bought singly, relative bargain as part of a set of Hope Hoops. Heard a few reports they are a bit soft and can ding easier than Mavic.
Stan's Flow without a doubt. Light and wide, yet plenty strong enough.
Had Mavic EN521 on my Blur for a couple of years. Seem totally bomb proof as they are still straight despite many water bar incidents and the like. Not as light as the Flows, but half the price
EN521 for me too, takes plenty of abuse and a decent width.
My Mavic XM719s take a fair bit of abuse in Calderdale/the Lakes etc and are still dead straight. Not touched them in the year and a bit I've been running them. Previous to that had some Syncros DS28s - they were excellent too... only changed as I grew fed up of the white rims!
