Looking at heading up to Golspie in a few weeks in my camper van, Is there a campsite close to the trails ideally with electric hook up.

For a bump as much as anything i'll recommend Crakaig just north of Brora.
Its 20km away or so but that's not far in Scotland. There's no electric, or much else for that matter, but its right on a beautiful beach and you can have a fire. Its not [i]definitely[/i] the weirdest campsite i've been on but it's in the top two. Watch out for nudist week which apparently happens in june sometime, don't leave any drink outside the van and be prepared to tell the owner to **** off if he gets a bit over the top, he's a nice guy but fond of the grape. There's not many places like it and it'll change when he goes and his ex takes over so go while you can.
