A quick request.

Myself and some friends were hoping to ride Golfie tomorrow, but it looks a tad windy.

Any real world experiences of what it might be like?

Much appreciated.

Probably about the best option, all those tightly planted trees, plenty protection. Stay on the lower down trails, as it looks like it'll be wild atop the moor.

Yeah, the climb up to the top for the wolves etc or main entrance to waterworld is always a slog never mind when it's windy. Getting up to 3G etc is less onerous but still can be a hassle. TBH innerleithen or thornielee might be better options

Thanks for the quick responses.

We did Innerleithen yesterday and Glentress today, so were hoping to try something new, before heading back home.

Think we'll see how tonight goes before deciding (we're camping!).

Any more thoughts/suggestions appreciated.
