I've always wanted to watch mountain stages of a pro tour (I've been to prologue sprint finishes and TTs), and was hoping to be able to tag a trip to this year's tour onto a visit to Guernsey for a wedding.
Unfortunately the dates don't work to get to the mountain finishes in week 3, so I would only be able to watch stages 14-16 which are described as medium mountain stages.
Are such stages worth (driving the length of France with a non cycling GF!) going to watch?
