A bit annoyed. Sent my Uvex lid back to Rutland before Xmas (sent it recorded next day and the website showed delivered, will have to see if it's still showing it online later). Rang them today and they say they have never received it :(. Why do I feel like a game of ping pong between them and Royal Mail will commence, leaving me left without a lid!!
if it's showing delivered i'd let Rutland know in no uncertain terms that as far as you're concerned they have it. cite the RM info as confirmation of this. if they dispute that, they can take it up with RM themselves, it's not your issue.
You don't often (ever?) hear good things about Rutland's service IMO!
Find out who signed for it (RM should be able to tell) - phone the shop and ask for that person.

if only the RM didn't have that strangle-hold monopoly ...
Well I have checked track and trace and it clearly shows delivered. I have emailed them a photo of my postage receipt, clearly showing the tracking number,them as the recipients and the fact I had it insured for the helmets amount.
What a farce!
In their defence, Rutland Cycles sent me the wrong bike via mail order (an ex-demo model, when I ordered a brand new one) and sorted it all out with no bother.
Rutland are turd IMHO.
Well turns out they have somehow lost my helmet!!! But to give them their due, they have offered me a full refund.
