So I've just bought myself the HERO 2 and have a couple of questions.

What setting do people find produces the best recording from a helmet mount shot in daylight? and what setting for night rides?

and then what about editing the thing on a pc, is there a dummies guide?

cheers

Summittoppler,
Same conundrum for me - read a bit on the web about changing file formats for editing and it seemed a bit of a faff TBH. In the end I've downloaded Windows Movie Maker for Windows 7 (or decent Vista I think) operating system.
You easily add all your files to a 'project' and can trim and split them easily and add some tunes too. Very little help needed to make it work and you can then just save your final edit to a wmv file. I am going to try Adobe Premier Elements 7 too but now I'm not sure of the added benefit of a quick edit. (BTW Saw your epic bivvy ride in Snowdonia - must get out with the MBNW crowd sometime - looks like a good crack)

GoPro on r4 for this first effort but not tried it night riding yet [url=
